The Chanfrein Desk

Eight steel legs, hand-patinated,

give the desk its steady presence.

lined in leather to the touch,

offers discreet storage

and holds only the essential.

 

Serious, precise, but never rigid,

the Chanfrein Desk is conceived

for those who dislike mess

yet find themselves returning to it.

It stands ready, almost jaunty,

like the sound of a well sharpened pencil

sliding across a smooth paper sheet.
