letting the fabric follow the wood

like a sensual wave.

The tapissier’s curved needle,

precise and pliable,

creates tension without rigidity.

The frame surfaces softly,

almost imperceptibly.

 

Protective and chubby,

conceived as a cocoon,

the Carrelet sofa envelops,

offering comfort.

One surrenders into it,

akin to the discreet friction

of a thick, soft fabric
