The Souffle Pendant

is inspired by the memory

of a horseback ride,

on a late spring morning

when the mist settles

in the hollows of leaves.

Hugo Besnier captures

a pearl of light.

 

Brass is shaped like a branch,

bearing the imprint 

of a custom-made hammer

forged in the bronzier’s workshop.

Each section is adjusted 

by hand and on demand.

The mouth-blown glass,

like a suspended drop,

opens and unfurls

into a corolla of light.

 

Radiant and organic,

the Souffle pendant is conceived

for a daydreamer,

a morning poet.

It carries a gentle breeze,

the discreet chime of vibrating glass,

and the scent of mist.
